Breathworks Mindfulness Course for People of Colour 2020

What is 'Breathworks?
This is a six-week programme based on 3 hours per week of group work, guided meditations, presentations, mindful movement and homework assignments. It will explore the process of bringing awareness to the body to facilitate lifelong tools which become second nature.

2. The class is suitable for newcomers to meditation & if you are new to meditation please let us know.

The Mindfulness Network for People of All Colours (MNPC) is a small, not-for-profit independent organisation established in 2018 in the UK by William Fley. MNPC is made up of our community leaders, committee board members, peer group facilitators, key volunteers and project coordinators.
We are not associated with any political, religious or institutional organization.
We are dedicated to making a kinder, wiser world by making transformational education widely available.
We want everyone to have access to transformative tools such as mindfulness, emotional awareness and self-compassion regardless of economic, social or physical challenges. Our events are led by gifted and exceptional BAME teachers

Pacing and learning how to break the 'boom and bust' cycle.
What will I get with the course?
6-weeks of lessons - 21 hours of class time
A balance of teaching, questions and discussion, and guided meditation
Daily home meditation practice of 20 mins a day
Guided meditations CD / MP3 downloads
Teaching and practices to help you develop mindfulness and self-compassion, and to relieve pain and anxiety.
A highly experienced mindfulness teacher to answer your questions and guide you through difficulties every week
A supportive peer group of those on the course with you
