About The Event

Summer Weekend Retreat,

3-day residential retreat in West Sussex (Micklepage, Horsham)

Dates: Friday 23 June to Sunday 25 June 2023

Summer WEEKEND RETREAT

On this retreat we will bring compassion to our LIFE stories; connecting to nature, vipassana, ritual and mindful movement.

This celebration weekend is to explore how we can use story-telling to heal, regenerate and educate.

This will be a chance to tell our personal life stories such as transition, loss and migration. With every life there is a dream; an opportunity to venture into the unknown, into a promise and into a rebranding of who we are. The stories have the power to shape who we can be and carry the power of transmission to other generations and those around us. Stories live inside us as memories.

In this retreat we will have the opportunity to rest in a calm abiding safe space to recharge our bodies, minds, and hearts. To listen and hear each other with the intention to embrace and build intercultural dialogue and our shared humanity with those who share stories of courage and struggle

In this retreat we offer an opportunity for respite, space, play, skilfulness around mindfulness practice. With some gentle breathing, focus and story writing we can connect to our past, within the present moment, and bring healing to ourselves and future generations.

We will have vegan and vegetarian food for the whole weekend and a warm, welcoming experienced retreat team.

Join us on this weekend to explore how to use these stories to heal, regenerate and educate.

Please join us for this inspiring weekend.
